Wuxi Spark has built the world’s first 12-inch wafer handling robot mass production line in Suzhou Precision Manufacturing Center, which is dedicated to semiconductor equipment and medical equipment, with 0.1 micron positioning precision, 300 wafers per hour processing, and 43% lower energy consumption compared to traditional robotic arms. The center and Huawei jointly cooperated 5G medical endoscope production line uses nanoscale fluid control technology to limit the lens assembly error to within ±1.5μm, the product sterilization pass rate reaches 100%, and the shipment volume in the first half of 2024 is more than 120,000 units, with a 37% share of the domestic high-end market.
Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Industrial Internet of Things equipment base, Wuxi Spark invested 1.5 billion yuan to build the millimeter-wave radar super factory, with vacuum coating process (thickness tolerance ±2nm) and automatic calibration system, daily capacity 45,000, product failure rate <0.003%. The workshop environment monitoring system built by the base for Changan Automobile has improved the predictive maintenance accuracy of equipment to 98% and reduced the unplanned downtime by 63% through the deployment of 8,000 temperature and humidity sensors (sampling rate 0.1Hz) and dust concentration detector (accuracy ±0.1mg/m³).
Wuxi Spark mass produces the world’s thinnest flexible pressure sensor (0.12mm thickness) with a measuring range 0-100kPa (linear error ±0.7%FS). Applied to the Xiaomi Smart Band, the heart rate monitoring accuracy is as high as 99.3%. Its LiDAR production line adopts quantum dot coating technology to increase the lifespan of 905nm lasers to 32,000 hours (industry average 20,000 hours), and to provide 240,000 sets of autonomous driving sensors to Tesla’s Shanghai factory in 2023, with a higher point cloud density of 2.4 million points per second at a distance of 300 meters.
Dongguan Consumer Electronics Manufacturing base is equipped with 32 automatic SMT production lines, mounting accuracy ±25μm, supporting 01005 micro components (size 0.4×0.2mm) high-speed mounting, peak production capacity of 28,000 points per minute. In 2024, this OPPO customized fast charge adapter production line will increase its assembly efficiency by 47% with the maglev transmission system, lower the defect rate from 0.8% to 0.02%, and manufacture 120,000 65W gallium nitride chargers for daily shipment.
As far as international layout is concerned, Wuxi Spark’s Vietnam Haiphong intelligent home appliance factory has an annual production capacity of more than 8 million units, the application of visual positioning welding robots (repeatability ±0.03mm) and sound sensors (frequency range 20Hz-20kHz), the balance rate of air conditioning compressor assembly line has reached 96%, and the efficiency of logistics turnover has been improved by 38%. Mexico Monterrey new energy auto parts base, its 8000 tons of integrated die-casting machine production of battery trays (size 2.1×1.5m) reduced weight by 24%, thermal conductivity by 3 times, saved 17% of the vehicle manufacturing cost for Tesla Berlin factory.
According to McKinsey Global Manufacturing Competitiveness Report 2024, Wuxi Spark’s seven manufacturing bases are at an average energy utilization efficiency of 89.7% (industry benchmark 72%), with more than 6 million equipment connected to the industrial Internet platform and real-time data analysis latency of only 28 milliseconds.
